>>The money is on multiplatform, and with the new Xbox 360 sales boost no one will like to lose that market.
If this game is so important for Kojima, the most important thing for him is to make a game exactly the way he wanted and not that the multiplatformity will give him more sales. The MGS4 sold 5 mil. ok, so there's plenty of his fans even on one console.
Also all those robots and japanese style gameplay remind me of Probotector/Contra and the golden age of NES/Megadrive action games somehow.
heroprotagonist, the point is that Crackdown 2 already has an oponent with much better graphics. And it's Just Cause.
Twisted Metal, on the other hand, doesn't have a competitor, whether you like its graphics or not.
You should compare the graphics of Crackdown with Just Cause. Becuase they are of same genre.
Crackdown looks worse than a multiplatform game. -__- .
Maybe all the boothbabes?
Not only Portal, but also Extraction for Dead Space 2 and Frontlines for Medal of Honor.
If you got an awesome girlfriend and someone else got an awesome girlfriend, you know who wins?
Everyone!
Why always Naruto and Bleach.. I wish they make more action-adventure games on One Piece (Unlimited Adventure was the game that sold me a Wii).
There will be a bundle Move + subcontroller + camera + Move Party or Demo Disc for $100.
You can also use the Dualshock (or better Sixaxis since it's lighter) instead of subcontroller.
And there's a list of core games that support Move
Killzone 3
GT5
Ape Escape 3
Sorcery
LittleBigPlanet 2
echochrome
Resident Evil 5
Dead Space Extraction
Time Crisis: Razing Storm
Well DS was much less powerfull than PSP for 5 years and that was ok. So what's the matter now? Does the graphics suddenly matter for DS fans or what?
And also great portable games are not only about graphics, if you think about Patapon, Loco Roco, Echochrome, Exit, Disgaea, Half-Minute Hero or any good game for DS...
Uncharted is not only about shooting. You spend much time climbing and solving puzzles. Uncharted is an action-adventure game and not a shooter.
And you forgot World of Warcraft for characters and enemy design. ))) .
Nevertheless it's a great compilation of good ideas. I mean.. it's not just about taking someone else's ideas. It's about mixing them right to make a good game. Look at Dante's Inferno. It also took GoW ideas but it was lame and boring. Darksiders, on the other hand, have much more to offer in terms of variety, abilities development, interesting level design, overall lenght and so on...
The game also reminded me of Soul Reaver: Legacy of Kain for its grim atmosphere.
And it took me 20+ hours to beat the game (I found all the armor parts but didn't find all the weapon upgrades). So it's a pretty big game too.
It was underrated by media, but I suppose gamers liked it, because it sold very well.
I will buy a sequel day one.
idk. )) . I think that PSP is profitable to Sony so they still on that market. And that is good. It is good for gamers. I just don't like how some fanboy people like to bash Sony. Sony made great innovative games for PSP like Loco Roco or Patapon or Echochrome. And brought big franchises to portable like Daxter, Secret Agent Clank, GoW, Jak and such... I don't want them to leave the portable buisness, because they really are making something good for it.
I like that "Sony in trouble" thing. Sony is the only company that could stand against Nintendo in the portable market for five years, taking about third of it's share. No other company was ever able to do that. And still "Sony in trouble". Yeah, right. They have their portable profitable buisness. It was not suppose to overthrone Nintendo day one or any day. PSP is still out there and selling.
P.S. I have both DS and PSP.
that's right. With big additional exclusive content such as Extraction in Dead Space 2 or Frontline in new Medal of Honor these games are something more than just a multiplatform.
That's right. Xbox 360 S. I thought that "Slim" word is somehow connected with PlayStation franchise. Even when Nintendo presented a new DS design, they called it DS Lite, and not Slim. Does Microsoft have some imagination to think out another word or letter?
It's like Kinect and Kinetics...
And also how can it be slim, when it's wider and thicker than original Xbox?
Portal 2 is like stealing [a rumored] exclusive from MS. Something that MS didn't manage to do this E3.
Waiting is boring. That's why we'll entertain ourselves with holywars till TGS. The time will fly faster with a good holywar.
Jump in. ))) .
